1. CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: NO GOVERNMENT AFFILIATION

Practice Dost is an independent, privately-owned educational preparation platform. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any Government of India, Government of Uttar Pradesh, or any of their departments, ministries, boards, commissions, or recruitment bodies, including but not limited to:

  • Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB)
  • Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC)
  • Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPCS)
  • Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
  • Indian Railways / Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB)
  • Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) and any Public/Private Sector Bank
  • Any other central, state, or local government examination-conducting authority

1.1 Nature of Content

All practice materials, previous-year question papers ("PYQs"), mock tests, study notes, and related content available on Practice Dost are:

  • Compiled, curated, or created independently by the Company or its content partners for educational and preparatory purposes only;
  • Not official examination content issued, licensed, verified, or approved by any government body or examination authority;
  • Provided on an "as-is" basis without any guarantee of exact correspondence to actual examination patterns, syllabi, or questions set by official authorities.

1.2 No Guarantee of Selection or Results

The Company makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee, express or implied, that use of the Service will result in:

  • Selection, qualification, or success in any government examination or recruitment process;
  • Accuracy, completeness, or currency of any syllabus, exam pattern, cutoff, vacancy, or notification information displayed within the App.

Users are strongly advised to cross-verify all examination-related information — including notifications, eligibility criteria, syllabi, exam dates, and cutoffs — directly from the official website of the concerned government authority before making any academic, financial, or career decision.

1.3 Use of Terms Like "UP Police," "SSC," "UPSSSC," etc.

References to examination names, government bodies, or recruitment boards within the App are used strictly in a descriptive, nominative, and referential capacity to indicate the subject matter of the practice content, and do not imply any partnership, sponsorship, or official status. All trademarks, logos, and names of government bodies remain the property of their respective owners.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Service. If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the App and enter into transactions (including any paid subscriptions) through it.


3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration (e.g., name, email, mobile number).
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree to notify us immediately at info@practicedost.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information.


4. Subscription, Payments & Access to Content

  • Certain PYQs, mock tests, and premium content may require payment of a fee via in-app purchase or subscription ("Paid Content").
  • Prices for Paid Content are displayed within the App and are subject to change at the Company's discretion, with reasonable prior notice for existing subscribers where legally required.
  • All payments are processed through third-party payment gateways (see our [Privacy Policy]). The Company does not store your full payment card details.
  • Access to Paid Content is granted for personal, non-transferable, single-user use only, for the duration specified at the time of purchase (e.g., validity period of a test series).
  • All fees are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes (GST) as indicated at checkout.


5. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content on Practice Dost — including compiled PYQs, mock test questions, explanations, solutions, graphics, logos, and the App's design and code — is the exclusive intellectual property of the Company or its licensors, protected under Indian copyright and trademark law.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content solely for personal, non-commercial exam preparation.
  • You may not: copy, reproduce, distribute, screenshot for redistribution, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any App content without prior written consent from the Company.
  • Any unauthorized reproduction or distribution of PYQ compilations or mock tests will be treated as a violation of these Terms and applicable copyright law, and may result in legal action.


6. User Conduct

You agree that you shall NOT:

  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to extract content from the App;
  • Attempt to bypass, hack, or circumvent payment or access-control mechanisms;
  • Use multiple fake accounts, emulators, or manipulated devices to abuse promotional offers, free trials, or referral bonuses;
  • Upload or transmit any unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content through any App feature (e.g., reviews, community forums, if applicable);
  • Impersonate any person or entity, including any government official or examination authority;
  • Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App's functioning.

Violation of this Section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.


7. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
  • Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, timeliness, or completeness of exam-related content;
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of exam opportunity, loss of profits, or loss of data — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall the Company's total aggregate liability to you exceed the amount you actually paid to the Company for the specific Paid Content giving rise to the claim in the preceding six (6) months.


9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.


10. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites, official government portals, or services not operated by the Company. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of such third parties. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.


11. Modification of Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms, is fraudulent, or is harmful to other users, the Company, or third parties.


13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
